Cars blocking pavements
21st December
Hi I live on brownhills road Newton abbot and for the past few months now there's been a red mercedes car park right over the pavement on the opposite side of where the cars normally park not only is it tight for other vehicles to get past Iv also seen parents having to walk in the middle of the road with there children on the school run and now not only is there a car there's a can that parks just in front making it even harder. This is going to make it hard for emergency vehicles to get past now as this is there only way down the street for the larger vehicles.

Parked on double yellow
18th October
From Newton Abbot town centre I turned right into Greenaway Road to be met by a large delivery lorry outside Onestop Store. I was unable to pass so waited with the car idling at the junction entrance. The white car pulled next to me and parked on the double yellow lines within metres of the junction. When a smaller vehicle managed to manoeuvre around the lorry it could not exit Greenaway onto the Ashburton Road due to the illegally parked vehicle. This driver was forced to pass me on the wrong side of the road and I had to drop back dangerously close to the junction entrance. The owner of the white car was quizzed about parking on double yellows but responded rudely and continued to lock up and leave his vehicle.

Broken glass
6th July
I would guess people are gathering on the steps in the evening as you often see a lot of empty wrappers This time they have smashed a couple of bottles and left lot of shards scattered across the steps which could cut dogs paws or people if they tripped on it

Parking on corners and across pavements
15th August
In the evenings this road has car parking around corners and opposite junctions, forcing cars onto the wrong side of the road and increasing the chance of an accident. Also multiple cars park across the pavement obstructing pedestrians. I have seen pushchairs with babies in have to be pushed into the road to get around parked cars. This happens along meadow rise, round sliver way into poppy close for years now.

Dangerous traffic at Ogwell Green
3rd January
At the top of Canada Hill all the way around to rectory road, cars speed around this corner. Lots of near misses with cars and children. There are school bus stops at the top of the hill and children playing on the Green. The traffic there has become more dangerous. The speed limit here needs reducing from 60mph to 20mph

Inconsiderate Parking nearly cause accident
8th November
This Morning an inconsiderate driver parked on the junction to my road. A young lady with a pushchair was very nearly hit by a car as she tried to cross the road behind the car. The law states you should not park within 10m of a junction. as you can see this driver parked well within that distance. Parking on Hunterswell Rd has always been a bone of contention as people park here to walk their dogs at the park (even though it has it's own free carpark) or just park all day and go to work in town to avoid the parking charges, but this idiot took the biscuit.

Claming painted parking space
claming 2 parking spaces.
Surely this is defacing council property and illegally taking possession of a public road as if it belongs to them. This has proved to be quite embarrassing for visitors if they park there as they are hit with a verbal attack. Always taking 2 parking spaces and currently painting her parking space to claim. To add, this is a council owned plot and not included on her deeds. offending car: Silver Ford Focus with Disabled Badge.
