Camper can blocking path
20th February
The attached document shows a campervan obstructing the only accessible pedestrian crossing with a dropped kerb. This blockage creates a significant blind corner, compromising safety. Is this permissible, given the increased risk of accidents, particularly for children unable to utilize the designated crossing due to impaired visibility?

Dangerous access

It is getting more and more dangerous to enter our lane. We have to drive towards oncoming traffic. A yellow hatch box or sign is essential. Two nears misses this week alone.

Abandoned caravan
14th June
This is on the turning area outside Holy Trinity Church at the end of Church Hill. There is an old caravan here that may or may not be lived in. It is covered in algae and dirt, and its wheels appear to have been taken off. There is a saw horse with branches, and other containers and varied debris that suggests it may be inhabited. There is also a Renault Master van, reg CE55VRO, that has both current MoT and road tax, that appears to have been converted as a living van. The area is looking untidy and detracts from Holy Trinity churchyard which is a very pleasant wildlife graveyard, and will discourage some folk from stopping here, which is also a major night-time bat highway. One understands the difficulties that some people have in getting accomodation in a high cost holiday area in these times in these fraught political times, but it would be better if the area were kept tidier and looked less derelict.

White lines no longer visible
20th March
Lane markings on A384 are no longer visible (for a long time now). This results in cars approaching each other head on as they seek to get into where they feel the filter lane may be to turn onto the A38 in both directions. This will result in a head on collision unless sorted - I have seen several near misses.

Unauthorised Men accessing door in A38 bridge.
25th March
Scaffolding has been up since December with nobody working on it.
There are men, mainly wearing hoodies, climbing up the scaffolding sitting on it and going through the door under the bridge. Sometimes leaving the door open and sometimes closing it. Initially they were sitting on the top platform but I couldn't see what they were doing. They have now put up two tarpaulins and made a 'den', so it is impossible to see their activity. I have photographic evidence of these men on the scaffolding.

Speed of road which customers go onto.
9th May
Hi, We just wondered whether there could be a speed change, or mirror installed on the Highways land for our customers. When leaving the Hotel, the speed which cars come around the corner is extremely hazardous but there is nothing we can put on our land that would help prevent a situation.

Broken facing leading onto the A38.
7th April
Under the A38 Bridge there is a sloped concrete area that did have fencing around it. The fencing next to Old Totnes Road has been broken for a couple of years meaning kids can easy get into this area. We live just down the road. Unfortunately my Autistic son ran off. He ran up onto the concrete slope under the A38. I noticed that the fence at the back at the corner has been broken off. Its clear people have been going through. This leads straight up to the A38. Luckily I managed to catch my son before he went through the last broken fence. It's rather worrying as people should not be going through this gap. Could this please be flagged as a priority as its dangerous.

Road markings very worn and hard to see where the lanes for turning begin or end
1st April
I am not sure whether National highways is responsible for the road markings on the overbridge and the slip road approaches. If so these need to be re-painted as a matter of urgency as I witnessed a near miss on the right hand turning lane to go north on the A38 because the lines are very faint.
