2 off "potholes"
30th October
A few weeks ago, a drain on the side of the road was repaired and re-surfaced. Almost immediately, the new tarmac subsided and is getting worse, soon liable to cause damage, or make drivers swerve to the middle of the carriageway. The same applies to the next drain cover, just a few metres away.
This seems to be common place these days - a cheap substandard road repair, without proper tamping down prior to tarmac being laid.

Large white van permanently parked outside no 4 Church House Road dangerously near the junction. Cars have to be on wrong side of the road to approach the junction and speeding traffic from the direction of Brean cannot see the traffic and slow down in time. School children cycling are in particular danger. There are very often other cars and a works van parked alongside making a very long stretch which is dangerous. What is needed is double yellow lines around the corner to prevent this and other parking problems.
