Large dangerous pothole on A346. Near the middle of the centre of the road, drivers side of the car, heading downhill out of Marlborough just after the golf club entrance.

Sunken drain cover about 18inches square in between old bridge parapets, has been here for at least 8 months and is getting rapidly worse, If a cyclist or motor cyclist hits they will be toast, this can and will kill or seriously injure someone soon.

Deep pothole
26th December
Just hit a very deep pothole in rainy weather so it was disguised as a puddle. Made an almighty bang suggesting it is significantly deep. Marlborough seems to be the worst place in the entirety of Berkshire and Wiltshire for potholes, having driven through a large part of both - a sorry state.

Deep pothole

The pothole is located on the downhill section of the road approx 100 yards before the green roundabout sign. Taking ones eyes off of the road to read the sign means that the chance to spot the pothole is reduced considerably.

Double Yellow lines are not visible down London Road

Builders that are working on the Renaissance Retirement Homes (where Marlborough Builders used to be located) are parking down the street and parking on the double yellow lines - this is because they are not very visible.
