Road collapsing
creating hole
The road collapsing, hole fills with water when it rains and it splashes our house. Brick work at front of house is soaked and takes over 24 hours to dry out after rainfall. Wooden door also splashed with dirty rainwater from passing traffic. Causing damage to our property as it wears away the rendering.

Grass is overgrown

The grass is usually cut however it hasnt been this year. As you can see from the pictures the grass is wildely overgrown and now starting to struggle to get the bins out of the gate.

The banners are fixed to a fence between Folly Park and the pavement/highway leading to the ( now dead end) Stanford Road. Please remove then, or have the advertisers take them down. They're an eyesore and cause some distraction on the roundabout.

Fall tree blocking path

A tree has fallen across the path between Berners Way and Harding Close blocking the way for pedestrians and it looks like some of the other trees around it are fairly unsafe surrounding it too.

Cars parking on double yellow lines

Cars keep parking day and night on double yellow lines at the top of the Radcot Road, anyone wanting to turn left has to shunt back and forth. It is causing traffic problems for farm machinery turning left.

Overgrown grass/trees

The grass in this Brackendale housing complex is so overgrown I dread to think whats beneath it all. The trees look a mess too. This was once a very well looked after area but its now a complete mess, so is the whole building tbh.

Pavement in places overgrown forcing you to walk on the road which is very dangerous.
2nd June
The pavement is very overgrown in places it also has a tree which has been blown over a wall and is partially blocking the path. Most days I walk down this path and have had issues with having to negotiate these obstacles! The problem being you have to walk on the road and dodge the speeding cars that come down this road.

Hedges Overgrown on Coxwell Rd

Hedges need cutting along the Coxwell Road in particular just after Coleshill Drive. They are now forcing pedestrians into the road especially when there is two way traffic on the path.

Pothole near junction with Westland Road

This issue was reported two months ago on Council ref: ENQ251043400 but has still not been fixed. The hole is getting larger as expected. It is opposite one of the 20 mph signs on Highworth Road and right close to a blue line sprayed on the road.

Vegetation overhanging the paths
25th May
Hedge needs properly cutting back as its currently dangerous to walk with Pram and children without entering the road. Buses for FCC and parked cars make this more dangerous.
Hedge needs cutting back to the start of the pavement not as is in pictures which were taken on the most recent day of cutting.

Traffic Island Signs Damaged
24th May
Someone has driven into both traffic island signs and ripped them off their bolts. Subsequently one is now missing and the other keeps being propped up by passes by, twice I have found it in the road now.
The traffic island is the Coxwell Road with the closest road junction off of this being Ampthill Way.
This happened at the start of May roughly.

Wires in tree

Wires Going through tree 76 Marlborough Gardens Faringdon although the tree has been trimmed it has only been done at the bottom. It is the higher branches as you can see from the photo that are causing the issue as the are touching the cable.
Do you know when this is scheuled to be done please?

The Hobble

The Hobble needs clearance it is becoming dangerous to walk along. Please clear the area of brambles, overhanging branches and weeds so the people of Faringdon can use the public footpath. This is a matter of urgency please as it has not been done for a long time.

Inaccessible pavement

The overgrown hedge and verge with brambles etc make it impossible for pedestrians to walk safely along the path. I need to use a mobility aid and found myself having to step onto the road with fast moving traffic . It was very frightening.
