No safe pedestrian crossing
14th July
At the junction of Southbroom and Potterne Roads pedestrians and especially wheelchair and buggy users have no safe crossing with drop kerbs or lights or zebras. This is a very busy junction on the route to the main town park, two schools, a nursery and leisure centre, This junction experiences particularly heavily traffic and the sight lines are not safe for crossing without protection. We have to rely upon drivers' discretion allowing us to cross. This is dangerous, inequitable and unacceptable when active travel is national policy.

No safe pedestrian crossing
14th July
Specifically at the junction of Southbroom and Nursteed Roads there is no safe pedestrian crossing on to the Green with a drop kerb, pelican lights or zebra. Generally, pedestrian drop kerbs and safe crossings are not consistently at the junctions in this area en route to and from several schools, playground, nurseries, community venues and the town centre. Please could you undertake a survey and allocate a budget to remedy the lack of access for wheel chair users and buggy users. .

Cars ignoring signage
2nd September
This road is clearly marked as a shared pedestrian and cycle way. However many cars speed down this way to walk their dogs in the woods at the bottom end. Many near misses especially with pedestrians on the way too and from the local school.
