Someone has removed the wooden posts on the grass verge that were placed here by Merton Council.
The grass verge has double yellow lines in front of it. Damage is caused by vehicles repeatedly driving onto it and parking here.
48 Rougemont Avenue SM4 5PZ appears to be an Air B'n'B, Tenants of the Air B'n'B are using the front garden of the residence as a drive when no dropdown kerb has been permitted outside the property. A car is currently parked breaching the Highway Code outside the property on the grass verge/double yellow right now.
The original report was raised on 23 February and was closed down. There has been no repair to the grass verge and the wooden posts have not been replaced.
As far as I'm aware parking isn't allowed on double yellow lines or on the grass verge. The area in front of 48 Rougemont Avenue is not a parking a space or a drop down kerb. I've not seen parking enforcement take action even when a van has repeatedly blocked the entire pavement for a week forcing residents to walk in the road. Should Merton Council want licence plate numbers please advise so.
