Vibration to house
19th May
As a result of gas roadworks in Cheam village, buses 151, 213 and SL7 have been diverted down Church Hill Road. Our end of Church Hill Road (A217 end) is not on a bus route and has not been re-inforced for heavy traffic like the other end of the road which is on the 93 bus route. The constant bus traffic making the house shake/vibrate. I am very concerned that this will cause damage to the house. The road needs to be checked as the gas works are due to continue until the 30th May.

Bus route
resurfacing required!!
This particular stretch of Sandy Lane is becoming very busy due to bus route and also because its a major school going road with footpath only on one side of the road. Due to uneven road surface theres a lot of traffic noise and ideally this stretch of Sandy Lane needs resurfacing or made a one way street.

Temporary traffic lights without any road work
28th April
Hi,
A 3 way traffic light has been put in place since last Monday, 22nd April on Sandy Lane Cheam for the purpose of road work. However, it's been a week and nothing has been done yet. There is no sign of anyone working in night or day, nothing dug up. But the traffic light system is still there and the lane is obstructed for no obvious reason. Since this is a busy road, especially in peak school hours, it causes major inconvenience without any reason of why it should be in the first place. It's horrible to see that no one has done any work for last 7 days and neither removed these road works signs or traffic lights.
I sincerely urge you to be really considerate about putting these restrictions without any reason. And if there is a reason, plz expedite the work on busy roads like this. A week without zero work is absolutely annoying for the residents like me, for whom this is the primary road to take for any commute.
I hope someone will look into this urgently and remove them. Attaching pictures as a proof.
Thanks
