Good morning! Today in the North East of the UK, we're looking at a rather mixed bag of weather. Expect a fair amount of cloud cover and some scattered showers, particularly in coastal areas. As we move further inland, there will be drier spells with some glimpses of sunshine breaking through the cloud. Temperatures will be around 14 degrees, but it'll feel cooler near the coast with those brisk northerly winds

Highs of around 13 degrees. On day two, it should be a touch warmer at 15 degrees and largely dry, with more in the way of sunshine, although a few showers can't be ruled out
