Crossing on Crewe Road by Hassall Road & Chancery Lane
24th May
Extremely long delay when pushing the button for the lights to turn to red to stop traffic. By the time the light turns red, the road may have cleared & schoolchildren are seen crossing the road when light is green. They can be caught out by vehicles turning out of Poppyfields.

23rd May
The tree appears to be dead, has no leaves on it and lots of small branches have broken/fallen off. This tree should be removed before winter as would be dangerous if it fell over in high winds

The street light column is positioned among my trees, and the branches are pressing against it, causing it to bend slightly. This may pose a safety risk. Could this please be looked into as soon as possible?

Traffic monitoring
16th May
Since Monday 12tj May 2025 the traffic monitoring measures have been tampered with with one wire being removed. I was away with work form the 13th May 2024 - 15th may 2025 when I returned both wires had been tampered with and thrown to the roadside. This seems to be sabotage by a member of the public on further inspection and the road is now damaged which under the law constitutes as criminal damage to a public highway.

You said that the issue had been fixed yesterday but clearly not. You need a refund form whoever did the work yesterday. Clearly still a hazard to road users and pedestrians, this is a busy junction especially school drop off and pick up times. This still is a hazard to road users and pedestrians, Accident waiting to happen here.

Outside of Alfred Mosley Place
17th May
Hi , I'm a resident of Alfred Mosley Place. You recently put a council collection litter bin outside our apartments by the bench . Since March 25 no litter has been removed from this bin , and I noticed the other night when I used it , it was full , and still contained litter and dog poo bags which have been there from March !!! When are these bins emptied? It's not nice particularly with the warm weather we've been having if those sort of things are in there , we don't want them overflowing, and causing rodent problems!!!

The hedge of the property on the junction of Dane Close and Cranberry Lane
15th May
The hedge of the property is overgrown and causing pedestrians with push chairs or wheelchair/mobility scooter users on to the road to get around the corner. This is a blind bend/ junction and could result in a serious collision causing serious injuries. The hedge has been an issue for a while, approx 6 months, the property seems vacant and as the weather has improved the hedge has really grown and the pavement is almost unusable. Thank you for your assistance.
