The electronic 30 miles speed limit
16th May
The sign that tells you to go 30 if you're over the speed limit is not working again!!!
This is a 2 lane slip road with at least 4 crossing.
Car go along this as if it's a 60 miles duel carriage way like some out of fast n furious weaving from lane to lane.
Very dangerous due to crossings and schools nearby with children using the crossings.
It really needs speed cameras. But at least speed limit signs and ones that work
It's been broken for weeks again.
Thanks

Parking Opposite Junction
13th May
These people opposite the bottom of our street keep parking there cars blocking the junction. We are struggling to get in and out as we cant access the correct side of the road, we are having to drive on the opposite side of the road. We dont even have a pull in space available. For example. I have just come in from work, turned to come into the street and there is a car trying to exit. I cant reverse as there are cars behind me and the car trying to pull out cant do so as there side of the road is blocked by the people with their multiple cars/vans when they have drives. This has been ongoing now for at least 4/6 months and they continue to do it. This is happening mainly from the people on Foley Road - House Number 106.

Traffic lights constantly on red- lightwood road by longton library
15th February
The traffic lights change to red regular even when the pedestrian button is not pressed so the lights are faulty even the timing I believe which leads to build up of traffic in busy times causing a inconvenience so these should be fixed asap as they are pedestrian lights so should only go red when the button is pressed for people to safely cross.

Pedestrian lights being used to control Traffic
13th February
These pedestrian lights are being used to control traffic flow. Which it absolute is not doing. People are queuing back down Lightwood Road completely unnecessarily. People are now starting to jump the lights out of frustration. This has been reported numerous times to the Council who claim an inspector is meant to be out looking at the issue. Yet it still continues. These lights are for the use of pedestrians, not to control the traffic. It is dangerous and unnecessary.

Traffic lights changing too quickly
26th January
All along the side road off of Heathcote Road, all the traffic lights are chaning green, then changing to red within seconds. You move through one set of lights, to come to the next to a halt again. These lights all the way from the libary all the way down to Tesco supermarket. I have to go home this way each night and its getting quite ridiculous. This isnt the first time its happened.

Controlled pedestrian crossing.
21st January
This crossing and the four following crossings towards Foley road roundabout constantly cycle to red regardless of the presence of pedestrians, hampering lawful traffic flow and increasing emissions. At busy times, the traffic is backing up onto the slip road off the A50 due to the crossing on Lightwood road adjacent to the library creating a serious hazard to traffic on this major trunk road (50mph limit). If this sequencing of traffic crossings is an intended traffic calming measure it is ill thought and dangerous.
