Road is covered in debris including stone and excess water due to blocked grids on both sides of the road
12th December
This water keeps freezing and is causing a hazard. The stones are a risk to cars and pedestrians a like, both as a risk of causing a crash or injury. A cyclist or motorcyclist would probably fall off its that bad. Needs doing urgently

Rocester
Dear Sirs, There is a very large pothole on Ashbourne road located approximately 400mm to the left of my property : The former Queen's Arms, Church lane, Rocester ST14 5JZ and approximately 5 metres from the junction with Church Lane. The noise and vibration when the hole is crossed by traffic is unbearable to me and my family and damaging my property. Your swift response would be appreciated. Yours faithfully, Andrew Lewis

Subsided re-instatement
4th November
On 24/10/2011 a gas supply was taken from the Ashbourne Rd, adjacent to former queens arms, to the property - The Stone cottage. The re-instatement has subsided leaving a significant depression across the carriageway. Traffic is bouncing across/in the depression to such a degree that my house (former queens arms) is also bouncing/reverberating from impacts. Of course this makes living intolerable but is structurally damaging. The former queens arms is a listed building. Your speedy response is neccessary and would be greatly appreciated. Yours faithfully Andrew Lewis. Tel. No. 07773314657

Cycling
noise
I am a pensioner living in sheltered accomodation at the end of Swinson Close Rocester. A shortcut footpath runs along the boundary of my property. My access and two other properties access leads out on to the path and I am continually being harrassed, threatened by louts who use the path to go to Northfield. They spit threaten me and throw things over my hedge causing damage and distress to myself. In the last 12 months there has been 2 incidents of motor cycles being driven down this narrow path. The path is also used by all and sundry, adults as well as children cycling along it and I have been hit several times by cycles. I estimate at least 10 to 15 cycle passages per day. i want notices put at either end of the path to show that cycling, motor cycling, loitering, abuse and noise all should be banned for me , my family children and grand children and animals are constantly being put at risk of injury. Inspection cover
3rd May
The large inspection cover located on Ashbourne Road and adjacent to my house, Former Queens Arms is displaced, loose and higher than the road surface. Each and every time a vehicle goes over it it moves so greatly that my house is being structurally damaged.Brickwork cracking, render falling. The vibration/noise is so bad that I can feel and hear it when I am sitting in my living room, kitchen and dining room. It needs repairing before my house is further structurally damaged.

Road needs repairing
3rd December
For a few months there has been a large lump of concrete (approx 2 ft by 1ft) on the road at the location shown on the map (Denstone Lane/Quixhill Lane).
This is as dangerous and as damaging to vehicles as the equivalent sized pothole and requires vehicles to swerve around it.

Rubbish build up throughout Nabb Lane
11th August
With the onset of Sat-Nav systems, Nabb Lane is now often used as a cut-through to Alton Towers. This results in a large amount of trash being dumped on the lane. Local residents do their best to keep the lane clean but particularly at this time of year, with daily traffic, the rubbish builds up - and bottles cans etc are a danger to horses, animals etc. Can something be done to keep the lane clean? Better still, can diversion signs be erected to encourage people to use the main road routes to the Towers?
