Blocked gullies making Green Lane very dangerous
8th December
Three quarters of Green Lane is covered in water. The main culprit is a blocked drain in a field on the east side. Water runs into the road and has nowhere to go. The gullies are all full and so the water rushes along three quarters the length of the road. Towards the junction with the B5331 the water crosses the road and enters the stream. But the road is very dangerous and will become more so if frosts arrive.
