There was a slate powered speedometer around here and its no longer there. Could have been vandalised and thrown in a bush like the one at the other end of the village. Worth investigating and replacing to slow people down entering the village at high speeds.

Vehicles parking from businesses causing problems for local residents. Heavy goods vehicles ignoring weight limit signage - which is hidden by overgrown trees. Been reported before and nothing done Road regularly blocked on one lane on entry from A1000 into Woodside lane - dangerous spot where there have been many accidents. Monday - Friday it's a nightmare . Warning of pedestrians sign has been knocked over outside one of the businesses. There is no footpath and there are many elderly residents who walk to the shop each day - it's only a matter of time before there's a really serious accident
