Absolutely awful mess in Huntington house bin cupboard
rats seen
I live in Huntington house in Welwyn garden city. The bin cupboard is an absolute state. Rubbish everywhere and people using this space to just dump whatever they want. The amount of flies I get in my flat is awful and I have young children. Rats have now been seen. Something needs to be done.

Pothole on edge of road in narrower part of road

To avoid this hole you need to swerve onto opposite carriageway. It is deep enough to damage a cars front/rear passenger wheels if hit at wrong angle or speed. It is dangerous and it is on the surrounds of a drainage grid. It has been there for approx 3/4 weeks and is unavoidable in peak travel. It is getting deeper and is possible that the drain may give way also if it continues. I should imagine this will cause a bigger issue if it falls into the drainage.

On the east embankment of the A1/M
travellers have encroached on it
On the east embankment of the A1/M where it meets the Great North Road or A1000 going north towards Stevenage, a travellers site that is located at Oaklands, Welwyn have unlawfully taken fencing down, clearing huge amounts of vegetation down, including trees and now are storing vehicles and equipment there. The area that has been cleared is approximately 30 metres long by 20 meters wide. This has been going on for about 5 months or so.

Bushes/trees overgrowing onto footpath

Im only 5ft 2 and I have to duck to avoid a branch to the face. Everything could do with cutting back as the path does start becoming narrow as the foliage overgrown at this time of year.

Bushes overgroing on sharp bend in road

When driving onto crookhams from the b1000 most cars pull into the middle of the road on the bend due to the bushes being overgrown and coming out into the road. This has been an issue for a very long time, they need to be cut back further for safety.

Inconsiderate and selfish neighbour’s parking

There is this woman who lives in my cul de sac and she parks in a disabled space even though she is not disabled. It was put in place for another neighbour but they died. Disabled markers are still there. She takes up so much space which leads some of the neighbours to park elsewhere due to her inconsiderate and selfish parking.

Part time traffic lights are out when exiting at J6, at rush hour it is causing vehicles to back up onto the A1M carriageway which is dangerous and obviously it makes the roundabout very very busy.
