Massive potholes and littering
14th June
MASSIVE potholes, eating up the road, causing huge problems when vehicles meet and for motorcyclists in particular. Also, warning cones that have been in place for the last 8 months, run over and left to litter the countryside - like a please dump your rubbish here, we do it, so why dont you sign. Also, temporary road repair signs that have been left to litter the hedgerows as further proof that dumping rubbish is authorised by the council.

Post with Keep Right sign on chicane knocked down
12th March
This happened in the last 24hrs. The chicane with protruding kerbs has a post knocked down (looks as if a car has hit it). The post is horizontal and the tarmac around it is lifted. Without the post the chicane is highly dangerous as it has no reflectors or Keep Right sign. This needs attending to urgently.

Literally tens of potholes
11th March
This road between Fox Hill and the turning for Ansells End is littered with numerous lethal potholes. I have reported these numerous times. Cones had been put in holes but these have been crushed by traffic. The road was notified to be closed from 27/2 to 3/3 and everyone was hopeful it was finally getting sorted, but no just a few of the holes from Fox Hill to Kimpton Bottom were done, all within a day and nothing else. This road is an absolute disgrace and must be one of the worst in Hertfordshire. WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE FIXED??

Potholes in road getting larger
6th March
There are several potholes in the carriageway as you drive from peters Green to Kimpton. Not just the giant holes that are decorated with dirty, broken cones, but others that are actually in the centre of the lane of travel. Please repair and stop ignoring this issue. When a cyclist gets thrown off their bike, it will be too late.

Can this really be called being made safe?
6th February
Thought Id add some photos of the whole stretch of road. Its dangerous, ridiculous and actually more like littering cones than making safe with them.

Craters rather than potholes
17th January
The road is disintegrating to a dangerous point. Cones have been placed (not even sure what good thats meant to do unless its temporary - and at least one has been destroyed because theyve become a permanent fixture along this road). Cones are now so dirty that they are barely visible until youre on them, causing another hazard. Please repair this road asap, its not safe.

So many potholes
7th January
Potholes on both sides of narrow country lane, perhaps if the assessors assessed in their own vehicles theyd take these seriously. They are potentially dangerous and could easily cause very costly repairs to people who already pay for the roads, as well as potentially dangerous for cyclists either avoiding them and causing a safety hazard by swerving, or hitting them and being unseated.
