Road markings need to be renewed and grass island needs to be made more visible
1st June
The road markings at this junction need to be repainted. The grass island in the middle of this junction (with manhole access chambers) is difficult to see, and combined with the lack of road markings, is highly likely to cause vehicles to collide and cause fatalities. The grass island (with manhole cambers) needs to be made more visible.

On left hand bend as you approach lynch hill from A5183
1st June
In order to avoid the pothole you need to drive on the white line, on a corner. Obviously not safe at all. This has been here for months, reported many times. You also had the road closed for 3 weeks and did other resurfacing work very near by. Why on earth was this not fixed then? What a waste of public money to now have to come out again.

Large pothole in the middle of the road near the divider
17th May
This pothole has been there for several months. It is on the southbound side of the A5183 Watling Street. As you come out of Markyate heading Southport, there is a large pothole on the A5183 southbound. It is very large and deep. A couple of weeks ago I bit the pothole and damaged my car leading to a huge expense for me. I previously reported but nothing was done.
I now have to swerve my car out the way to avoid the pothole. Those who dont know its there often drive through and damage their cars

Corner just before a road turn on the right
13th May
There has been a pothole here for several months. To avoid this you have to swing to the other side of the road causing a huge danger as there is oncoming traffic. It is on a bend which is even more dangerous. Also all the way up Lynch hill as you enter the village there are several large and deep potholes on the edge of the road meaning you need to drive more in the centre of the road which can be dangerous on a steep hill

Blocked drainage ditch
12th May
Lynch hill and the lynch kensworth including blocked drain outside badgers holt LU6 3QZ Blocked drainage ditch which is essential for avoidance of flooding It was agreed by the council that this ditch would be on a regular clearance schedule to avoid a repeat of the major flooding of theis area following a major flood in 1993. The current weather patters suggest a repeat of this flooding may occur if we suddenly have a massive rainfall on land which is baked hard. If the council do not maintain this ditch it may be liable for any flood damage
