Complete painting of yellow lines
2nd June
Finally the 6 wheel camper van has been moved and it is possible to complete the lat 3 meters of yellow line to ensure parked vehicles do not obscure this dangerous junction.
Thanks in advance.

6 inch wide strip of top surface missing across entire width of lane. 2 deep potholes, each one about a foot in from edge of lane. Both wider than strip missing. Difficult to avoid as at approach to roundabout. The section has worsened over the winter.

24th May
Motor home parked for months unmoved parked on double yellow lines
Since parking the site has been changed to double yellow as per latest update from the council for safety (painting couldnt complete on that side as it was not moved / but the other side reflects the full length of extended double yellow lines which apply )

People parking on double yellow lines.
23rd May
People park blocking our private road outside the school. They park on double yellow lines and school zig zag lines outside the main entrance of woodend school. I can not get down the private road onto our driveway, and have to wait until they leave. I believe greater signage and perhaps a parking warden could fix this issue.

Continual rubbish/debris left outside the flats at 40-46 Down EDge
24th March
There is a recurrent problem here of what looks like old furniture and kitchen materials i.e. old drawers etc left outside the entrance to the flats, and this has been ongoing for a few years, as if someone is running a business. It just makes the area look untidy and an eyesore.

Deep flooding once again
27th February
Deep flooding once again in a small lane. Most modern cars have electrics under our wheel arches which means we cannot go through deep water. Therefore please look into the problem and put measures in place to stop the flooding happening as its just getting worse

The is a very large pothole in the middle of the road. It is very wide and deep. I cannot reverse easily off my drive without going down it. Cars/vans are hitting it in the dark
especially if there are parked cars on the street
The pothole is very large and getting wider and deeper. Stones are being showered across the road when a vehicle hits it. It is not well lit at night and is dangerous to vehicles and pedestrians. The pothole is located in the middle of the road, towards the bottom of Longcroft Avenue before meeting Townsend Lane. It has been there for at least 5/6 weeks.

On 24/7 and far too bright
7th February
New lighting installed under the M1 on A5183 between the two roundabouts. It is on all the time and is far too bright. Even in daylight it is too bright. At night you enter from a section of road with no lighting and this is dazzlingly bright, then exit to another section with no or very poor lighting. Better not to have any than this excessively bright lighting. Could probably switch three quarters of them off and still be more than adequate.

The ditches haven't been maintained since the early 1980s ! If it isn't resolved soon I will have no choice but to take matters in to my own hands. What would you do if it was your father?
