Outside 15/17 The Meads. Reported to Highways over a year ago. Inspection 6th Feb 2024 found lid was stuck. "Repair being considered" . Next inspection due Oct - Dec 2025. Have lived here 4 years, it has never been clear.

What is ahppening?

There were many reports of uneven pavement, crumbling, and cracking and non epf them seem to be listed.
This whole section of pavement on ashridge drive was meant to be done last year march but despite pictures of an old lady walking on the road because she cannot ouch her walker along the pavement, this health and safety issue has been depriorirised and ignored.
It has now been over 2 years since complaints were raised by various residents including me the chair of the residents association, and raising with herts Councillor Stella Nash.
Please action as soon as possible prioritising this before there is a serious accident
