Dumping trash on public ground
12th July
My neighbour (council.tenant) cut down the tree that has been in the garden for years, which also had bird nests and.home to some birds/small animals. They cut it down without permission, dumped the parts just outside their fence on public ground where kids run on playing. And they also dump.other trash there. This is just one of the many compliments raised by residents on the street regarding this same houshold that have been an ongoing nightmare for over a year for everyone. You complain and complain and this just gets passed around from one department to another and finally the anti-social.behaviour team it ends with picks just 1 aspect of the many many complaints and another deals with it and nothing gets done. If trash like broken bottle hurts a child running round, who deals with that? Environment health passed this to landscapping and then to housing. A tree has been cut, bird nests desteoyed, tree bits litter public ground(all complaints are obvious and can be investigated) yet this nuisnace neighbour geta away with tormenting residents on street because complaints (over a year now,non-stop) gets ignored. This rubbish has been there for weeks now, surely the council cant claim not to see this-PLEASE deal with this never-ending complaints about one and same household.

Block drain flooding house and street
6th July
The drain outside number 40 Stockbridge Road is blocked. So the water comes off the road floods pavement and floods my house being 40 Stockbreach Road. This was reported before, but nothing has been done. I had to pick my child up and soak my feet to get into my house. I was only in hospital yesterday for my back and Im not supposed to carry anything heavy. Another problem with Hatfield Council

Neighbour always block my own drive
leaving hers free
My next door neighbour parks on my 9wn driveway amd leaves her free. This has been escalated to the police several timea, but each time the community officer comes out to speak to her, she pretends it is noted, let some time pass and repeats it over and over again.they are really neigbours from hell ( the type with serious antisocial behavioir, yet even council doesnt act on complaints from.everyone on the street, not us alone)

Pavement uneven

Pavement has previously sunk for whatever reason and when repaired instead of making it all level its just been relayed with a dip. This now means when elderly are using the market they are tripping into stalls. When spoke to highways inspector they advised to report and they will get it made level again

Rubbish on pavement
15th June
This rubbish has been on the pavement for more than two weeks. I previously reported this issue to Welwyn Council under reference FLY018446.
The council responded stating that the rubbish is on private property and that it is the landlords responsibility to keep it clean, advising me to contact the landlord directly.
However, I must point out that it is not my responsibility to contact private landlords. My role, as a resident, is to report such matters to the relevant authorities which I have done. The property in question is rented, and the rubbish is clearly on the pavement, which is public land. If the waste is on the pavement, how can it be considered the landlords private property?
It is the councils responsibility to keep public spaces clean and to take enforcement action when necessary. The situation has now worsened the area is infested with rats, and rubbish is blowing into surrounding areas.
I am therefore requesting that the council take immediate action to clear the waste and address this issue appropriately. Please do not respond by advising me to contact the landlord again.
This is a public health issue, and I expect the council to act without delay.
