My car wheel sunk heavily into this particular pothole, a few feet up Church Hill from the gate marked "Bruin House". There are also numerous other potholes along this road. I took these photos on 19/10/2015 and the potholes are still there 4 weeks later.

Deep pothole in middle of Horsehill Lane
Donhead St Mary
There is a deep pothole in the middle of Horsehill Lane, Donhead St Mary SP7 9LZ - by the turning into St John's Close, just before the School; which is dangerous as cars are often parked in the road; and it is also near a junction to a housing estate. I visit the area frequently and am aware it has been there for several months.

Condition of A30 between Donhead St. Andrew and Shaftesbury
11th September
The A30 has been repaired between Donhead St. Andrew and Salisbury. The road through Wilton has been repaired. The section of A30 between Donhead St. Andrew and Shaftesbury is in an apalling state. The council marked areas of the road for repair several months ago but the rain has washed away many of those markings now and no work has been done apart from a small section of road near Ludwell. I was oibliged to drive over three large potholes earlier this week, on a return journey to Shaftesbury, to avoid oncoming traffic. This section of road is dangerous now. I have been obliged to replace one tyre already and it is only a matter of time before I will face further costs of repair to tyres and suspension, on the assumption that I can avoid an accident which could lead to more serious damage. This issue needs immediate attention.

Street lights x 2 not working
7th December
There are two street lights out of action on/around the entrance to the Coronation Drive/Horsehill Place estate coming from Ludwell Hill. The first - overlooking the inclined pathway from Ludwell Hill - has not been working since Spring 2013. It is highly dangerous both for dog walkers/pedestrians approaching from Ludwell village and particularly for the elderly that live in retirement homes on the estate. This needs fixing ASAP!!!

Road surface (A-road) in disgusting state!
1st October
The road surface of the A30 - especially the stretch between the Grove Arms and Green Acre Farm Shop at the far end of Ludwell village - has been in a disgustingly bad state of repair with large, deep potholes for very many months.
It seems grossly negligent of the council that nothing has been done about the surface of this much-used A-road where traffic enters Ludwell from Shaftesbury in the West!
