Overgrown hedges on Cleeve Road between Mill Road and Clevemede

The hedges are extremely overgrown on the river side of Cleeve Road between Mill Road and Cleevemede. The road is already narrow and is causing the carriageway to be too narrow to fit two cars without hitting the kerb. At least 2 or 3 meters of the carriageway are unusable currently and it needs to be cut back.

Two potholes are on the southbound road i.e. the eastern side of the road as you drive south past a turn off to garages . These are slowly growing in size and depth and are in a place where cars and especially bikes would drive over.

New parking bay on blind junction is very dagerous
12th May
New parking areas have been created in Goring. The one at the Cleeve Road - Glebe Ride junction is very dangerous. When a vehicle is parked at the end of the new parking bay it forces a vehicle headed towards the High Street to go onto the RHS of the road. Vehicles coming up Glebe Ride and wanting to turn left cannot see a vehicle on the "wrong" side of the road because of a high brick wall. There will be an accident here if it is not changed. This is a serious complaint. Please take it seriously. Thank you.

Road closed sign left behind

There is a road closed sign left at the side of the road since at least November 2024 and hasnt been moved. I previously submitted a problem but missed the follow up email saying I needed to attach a photo so I am re-submitting the problem.

Overgrown Verges
2nd May
The verges have not been cut this year and were not done last year either. They are now overgrown to the point where vehicles cannot get past a cyclist or pedestrian as nowhere for the latter to stand aside. The council routinely ignores this road which is in a shocking state and that needs to change. Please do the local community the good turn of at least having the verges cut back.

Missing bollard

Please reinstate the missing bollard.
This is different from the one on the other side of the road.
This bollard is vital to maintain the safety of the width restriction at this point.
The hole in the pavement is also a trip hazard.
No sign of the missing bollard.

Rubbish repair - misses half the problem

You appear to have filled in a hole at the entrance to the school, but have left several yards of uneven, loose and uneven ground. This should have been done properly and completed a smooth entrance instead of a patch which wont last and the need to come out again to do the other side in a few months anyway.
