Cracked and Deteriorating Pavement in the front of 24 Orchard Grove
Pe33 0jz
Hello,
Im reporting a section of pavement in front of my property that has been gradually deteriorating over the years and is now in quite poor condition. The surface is cracked, uneven, and breaking away in places, as shown in the attached photos.
This pavement is used regularly by many local residents, including a large number of elderly people who live in the area. As someone who is registered disabled, I personally find it increasingly difficult and unsafe to navigate. The risk of trips and falls is a real concern, especially in wet weather or lower light conditions.
Given the long-term wear and the current state of the surface, I would be very grateful if this could be inspected and considered for repair as soon as possible. It would make a big difference to the safety and accessibility of the path for everyone in our community.
Thank you for your time, and I appreciate your attention to this matter.
Kind regards,
Damian Dzwonek

Cones/sand bags
14th March
Sand bags left on the armco barrier and old broken cones chucked down the verge. The mess you leave everywhere is disgraceful, and you have the audacity to run anti littering campaigns.

Overgrown hedging- danger to pedestrians
12th December
Hedging on Station Road from the top of Hall Orchards towards Hill Road is dangerously overgrown in places. Impossible to walk on path in places with a pushchair and/or a dog. Brambles & nettles are everywhere, I got caught in the face one evening. The path has halved in width in places due to overgrown verge from residents hedges. Very dangerous having to walk on the road towards a blind corner. Have addressed issue in village Facebook group but only 1 or 2 people have cut their hedging back. This needs to be done by many more of the residents responsible before an accident happens.

Foot/cycleway obstructed by vegetation
17th November
The cycle/footway around the layby on the A10 just south of the Hardwick roundabout is almost completely blocked by an overgrown hedge and brambles. It forces people to walk or cycle on the A10, particularly when trucks are using the layby. It has been reported directly to NCC several times before but no action has been taken.

Bushes overhang path
31st August
The bushes along A10 are overgrown. I had to help a disabled lady push a wheelchair off the path, onto the grass to get around the overgrown bushes. They cover 75-90% of the path making it difficult for people to walk on.
