Overgrowth of trees and bushes
16th May
I am the Chairman of Assheton Bowmen Archery Club. Our club has land that backs on to the M60 (M405SH). There are trees and bushes on Highways land that are overgrown, passed your boundaries and are now causing an obstruction on our land.
This is particularly dangerous as members arrows could possibly be lost in the overgrowth.
Can you arrange for this overgrowth be cut back to your boundary as soon as possible please.

Metal Bollards Side of Alpington Walk
15th May
Metal bollards need repairing; one is missing, so now all electric bikes, scooters and motorbikes are driving through at high speed onto the pavement and road.
Someone will end up getting knocked down by these thugs on the electric scooters. The people driving the electric bikes, scooters have no concern for pedestrians on the pavement.
The council needs to take action, or these thugs will run into some poor elderly person or young child.

Amount off traffic and speed off traffic
2nd May
This is the second time I have reported this problem... again the residents off our street are stuck in their home due to traffic ...and when the traffic is not heavy we have a problem with people using our street as a cut through speeding. We did have a a traffic survey done for the speed but where they put the lines is on a bend do people naturally have to slow down, when I questioned this I got told that they can't put the lines down where there is a drive way ..which I find difficult to understand, the problem is on the straight part of the street... please can this be looked at again as I'm currently trying to contact our local MP to help with this

Review Traffic Flow
14th April
This roundabout is heavily congested during peak hours and traffic will only increase with opening of the new Aldi and the proposed Lidl.
Its also dangerous to use as a lot of drivers do not appear to be aware of which lane to use, I believe improving the lanes or colour coding them would make this a lot safer to use.
If you approach the round about from lightbowne road and go straight over to greengate you can enter from both the left lane and proceed into the middle lane on the roundabout or the right lane and join the right lane on the roundabout. I dont believe this is very clear and is only known from local knowledge.
Please review this roundabout urgently as its a huge hazard with near misses witnessed every week.

Two broken kerb stones
14th April
Vehicles frequently mount the kerb hero try to get around queuing traffic joining the m60 towards Ashton to turn right to go down Broadway. If possible, please reduce the width of the pavement (I've never seen a pedestrian here). This will reduce congestion and prevent further damage to kerbstones.
