Houses shaking
4th April
Along this stretch of road the houses shake when large goods vehicles or buses drive past. The entire house shakes and is getting worse. Garden wall is cracked and crumbling due to this I suspect. The road needs looking at to either reduce speed or the road needs repairing to a smoother surface

Not enough parking for residents of flats on Lennox road
2nd November
The parking situation is a joke, may residents who live the the flats just like myself struggle with long distance walking even from around the corner. There is a sign stating residents parking only however this hasnt been followed and numerous people just park their car and leave it for 1-3 day this then restricts which residents can park here. This has been happening for 2-4 weeks

Possibly faulty speed camera
25th August
Speed camera on King Cross Street beside the Motorarena car sales flashed oncoming cars that were travelling at 27mph at around 11.30am today. Is it faulty? If that camera also measures the speed of cars on the opposite side of the road travelling the other way, then it may be them that triggered it. But if it only measures oncoming vehicles (e.g ones travelling towards Halifax Town centre), then there's definitely a problem with it.

Orchan road junction......
14th March
The junction at Orchan road to the main road the road surface is poor. Lorries... buses (yellow buses) ect reverse to turn round frequently...hence the condition of the junction......no good patching it up with low grade material as its chewed up and disintigrated after one lorry reverses round to turn round.....

More potholes appearing on Lennox Road

We had some potholes filled recently, thanks. However, more are now opening up on Lennox Road.
Noticed most of the main A646 had been done but understandably most of the side streets were not identified. Hence this report.

Drain completely blocked with mud and silt.
28th February
This is the only drain which serves the carpark off Lennox Road accommodating vehicles and foot access for around 45 properties.
Every time it rains, the carpark becomes a flood plain.
Recently with temperatures below zero overnight it is as ice rink in the mornings.
Please can it be dug out / jetted to allow the drain to do it's job.
I don't think this has ever been done in the decade that I've lived here.

Building site at 815 Burnley Road

Builders are blocking the road with diggers to carry bricks etc. The digger is not coming down a dropped kerb mud, stones and nails are all over the road and pavement, the grids are blocked from the debris. Traffic is being blocked and/or being forced to overtake on a dangerous corner.

Overgrown hedges and ivy

Overgrown hedges and ivy ect making the footpath narrow....needs clearing as it is a right of way.... Difficult for mothers with prams or people on mobility scooters. a third at least of the footpath is at the moment lost to overgrown vegetation..... please clear......

Faulty lamppost
1st April
As you can see, the lamppost is not ok and has not been on for a few months. On a steepnroadblikebthisbone it's a bit of a safety risk especially when it gets cold. I think it's lampost number 5 or 8, I don't fully remember. However, in this position you won't get it mixed up with other lights.

Lamppost faulty
1st April
As you can see in the image, there's a faulty lamppost with no lighting coming from it. You can also see the ones around it that are well lit. The lamppost ID is in the second photo. This poses as a safety risk as it's incredibly dark here (the camera makes it look like it's more bright than it is).

Collapsed wall
iced roads due to water leak
There is a collapsed wall that has encroached onto the carriageway. The road is currently iced over due to a water leak, reports have been made to the owner of the building however they have not repaired the leak and have stated the ice is not theirs to resolve. There are multiple large potholes that have been growing over the last 6 months, the road is starting to break up.

Sunken Grate/manhole

Sunken manhole access cover in the road. Every time the bus or articulated lorry go over it my house shakes... not good please sort it.
