Ng321nl just up the road from number two Hillside Road all of the verges are a mess. The drain is blocked and there is no dyke as it has been filled in
15th November
The drain is blocked up the hill near two Hillside Road which is on the way to Denton which may come up as Cliff Road on a map ? The Dyke is absolutely full of Debis and does not function as a Dyke. There should be a pipe showing at two Hillside Road at the edge of there drive that has been filled in ! This is where thedyke water used to flow into the pipe And the verges are a mess which is coming onto the road the whole area really needs looking at as we have a lot of water that comes down the rd when it rains as there is nowhere else to go. Hence when it rains the whole of the crossroads in the village gets full of debris and grit and so do the side of the roads- this should all filter into the dike? This is no longer there and as you will see from the photos the drain is very full.
