Road is closed
4th July
The road is closed with no signs or warning making drivers have to turn in the road and find alternative routes. The sat nav does not pick this up. The road is closed prior to crossing the motorway bridge as you enter village of Salford. There should be prior warning of the closure on your approach, this added a further 15 minutes to a journey to gain access to my home in Cranfield.

Vegetation overgrowth
27th June
The double yellow lines on Cranfield Road between Park Farm bungalow and around tight left hand the corner towards Salford are so overgrown by verge they are, in some places now invisible. Not only is this unacceptable maintenance but it reduces the road width. The height of the verges is absurd, some road signs are now covered. The hedge at the left hand bend just after Park Farm Bungalow towards Salford has been allowed incursion into the road and is now a wall. The road is tight at this point especially when agricultural vehicles are using the road, as expected in the countryside. We have now lost the sight line around the corner which is also a serious danger to pedestrians and cyclists. There is no footpath and the verge is now circa 1.5m plus high. Please trim this back hard to how it was a few years ago before someone is injured.

Van with trailer - camping on the side of the road
8th May
For the last few days red van with trailer is parked on the busy road, between John Lewis Magna Park 3 and Baar warehouse. Yesterday man was sitting outside the van, burning brunches in the small BBQ (branches looked like chopped out from nearby trees), trailer was open and it clearly looked like this man is living in there. Today BBQ was placed by the van, solar panels were placed by the side of the van but man was not outside. This van have not moved from there last night - I cycled passed by after 10pm.

Missing 40MPH Road Signs
7th May
Cranfield Road/Crabtree Lane Speed Limit - A00480
The above requires 40mph speed limit signs to be erected in Crabtree Lane. These signs are needed to ensure the 40mph limit is in place for vehicles travelling from Aspley Guise turning either left or right out of Crabtree Lane along Cranfield Road which is designated as being 40mph. Additionally any vehicle travelling from Aspley Guise along Lower End Road Wavendon will not see a 40mph sign until they reach a 40 mph repaeater sign attached to a SID opposite Wavendon House Drive, Milton Keynes. Clearly this issue needs to be resolved as a matter of urgency as pedestrians crossing Lower End Road do not expect vehicles to be travelling at the national speed limit on a road designated as 40mph. Please contact me if you require more detailed information.
