The road has disintegrated leaving a large area which has no tarmac on it. The edges are very sharp & will damage tyres. Why we have good weather it needs to be priority as once it rains the water will run over the road again. It is dangerous

Blocked drain and road needs a sweep
18th June
This drain is BLOCKED, you can clearly see that there is mud to the top of the grate which has now dried in the warm weather. The gulley/kerbside of the road needs a clean as there is mud and silt sat in it which can also be seen in the pictures. I reported this a couple of weeks ago and it was closed as someone had been out and inspected it and reported the drain was fine.
When we have heavy rain this corner floods to the other side of the road and causes people to drive in the wrong side of the road to stop driving through the deep water.

The drain is full of mud and silt as are all the drains along this piece of road in Nash
10th June
The drain is completely full of mud and silt. When it rains it forces people coming from Beachampton onto the other side of the road to avoid a deep puddle. The last report was dismissed as a water leak. The gulley has not been cleaned out since 2022. It needs properly cleaning.

Road Closed Signage
22nd May
The road closed signs remain in place at both ends of Bridge Street despite the work being completed. This is of particular concern as I live in a thatched property and it worries me that emergency services could be delayed by inaccurate signage.

Drain is fully silted up
19th May
Reported a few weeks ago (24 April) as overflowing during relatively light rain, this drain has zero capacity for water due to silt. The previous request was closed after 1 day with The Highway Officer has carried out an inspection which was clearly a mistruth.
Please clear this drain, flooding is a continual risk in Thornborough

Road surface poor state on church lane
10th May
On entrance to church lane from high street end and all the way down to other end of church lane, over the winter this road surface is getting worse. As lots of parents and staff of the school use this road week daily, it is heavily used with approx 40 cars daily using it on school runs and any others for events at the church and village hall. We have lots of user groups at the village hall . Also the children are having to be extra careful walking down it from having lunch in the village hall week daily. Especially in mornings and afternoon school runs, the road surface being in a poor state and it now turning to gravel parts is making it easy for children to trip/slip over and cut their knees and arms. So Im suggesting instead of us constantly reporting parts that need re doing to you, to save council money in long run is to re surface the entire Church Lane Road. There is also a big pot hole on the side road going off Church Lane (grey part on map).

Broken road surface and pot holes on entrance to church lane by pond
10th May
Road surface is broken and pot holes have still not been done since December 2024 as originally reported. It was all sprayed out by council in white paint for it to be done and then nothing has happened since. Lots of cars go through church lane on school run and use of church and village hall. Approx 40 cars every week day use this road. Then 15 cars approx at weekends depends of events at church and village hall. Its starting to affect car tyres and tracking.
