Drayton Bletchley Road, 17th January
Let me be another angry resident of the village to complain how you Aylesbury Vale council have let our main roads fall into this draconian terrible state of disrepair the fact is you take our money each month and treat the people like this. I’ve lived here for three years now and apart from patching the potholes in oddspots it’s always been the same every year in fact it’s getting worse.Mr Patrick Curran Warners Road .

Blethley Road crossroads with Whaddon Road and Bletchley Road, 23rd December
The main cross roads in Newton Longville have virtually no road markings at all. In the dark it is impossible to see the give way markings or find the centre of the road, particularly along Bletchley Road to the junction with Bonnards Road. The road surface is very poor indeed and traffic is regularly driving down the centre of the road on a blind bend to find the smoothest route. Reinstatement of the surface and new white lines at the junction have to be a priority before an accident occurs due to the unsafe conditions. The broken up road surface is littering the pavement and causing a trip hazard to pedestrians trying to cross.

The road has numerous potholes some of which are very deep and would damage your wheel not just your tyres. To avoid the potholes you need to drive on the other side of the road which is likely to cause an accident. There is a huge volume of traffic using this road because of the closure of Whaddon Road. The whole section needs to be re laid not just patch repaired as it has been like this for years. Please repair as an emergency. Bletchley Road from the crossroads towards Bonnards Road.
