The verge on the south bound carriageway has come away from the road
7th March
The verge on the south bound carriageway has come away from the road. It looks as if this is because some heavy good vehicles have left the carriageway, because it is too narrow for them. There is mud all over the verge and the cycling/walking path and the carriageway has a deep drop down to the verge. This keeps happening due to the narrow nature of the road in this stretch.

Southbound carriageway just after Hall Lane turn off
30th January
Pothole on southbound carriage way. It is large enough to force traffic to try to move around it. This is in evidence by the tyre track marks on the verge from wide vehicles. This is very dangerous and is likely to cause large vehicles to leave the road if they try to avoid it or cause a crash with oncoming traffic if they hit it.
