Fall and injury caused by damaged/badly maintained pavement outside 70 Westville Road KT7 0UJ - 20 May 2025

The pavement right outside 70 Westville Road KT7 0UJ. I was walking along this road on 20 May 2025 with my sister and my dogs when I lost my footing and fell on this damaged pavement. I suffered injuries that meant I had to attended A & E at Kingston Hospital where I had x-rays to ensure my arm wasn't broken and have a wound caused to my right hand cleaned and dressed. I also had to have a tetanus jab because of the loose dirt from the pavement getting into the wound. I came on this site to report the dangerous pavement and found out that this same issue was reported and supposedly fixed in September 2024. The repair clearly wasn't sufficient and the pavement is damaged again and causing accidents.

The pothole is centrally located on the approach to the entrance driveway, so is a significant danger to cyclists. Width 1270mm, length 1080mm, depth 70mm. The issue has been present for at least a year, but is worsening.

Church Walk not suitable for walking

I'm sending this on behalf of 60 Church Walk who is 92 and does not have a computer. He needs to practice walking with an aid but can't because of the unevenness of Church Walk. See photos attached which show Church Walk outside 60, 56 and 54. In addition to the indentations the path is very uneven due to works and repairs over the years. Although this has existed for a number of years it has got worse. It needs a major repair and resurfacing. He can't do small trips and drives the 200yards into the village. It is quite likely that he will give up his car this year.

Branches are hanging over pavement

You can get past but only if you move the branches out of the way. Its been like it for a week. The grass has recently been cut but nothing done about the tree. Its very obvious.

Four wheel drive car been parked on bend
on double yellow lines. We had a small lorry that couldn't deliver as this abandoned car been here a week.

Overgrown tree blocking views when turning out of Windmill Lane

The trees at the corner of Fleece Road and Windmill Lane are overgrown at the base. Visibility turning out of Windmill Lane is completely obscured, especially to the right. This is very dangerous as it is impossible to see on oncoming vehicles without pulling out some way across Fleece Road
