Erased zebra crossing markings
15th May
I do not understand why simple line marking s can not at minimum be refreshed at this crossing. This is a busy A road with a crossing used by schoolchildren that anecdotally are subjected to near misses from vehicles every day. It is clear as I have provided photos to you that drivers fail to see the crossing in sufficient time as there are barely any crossing markings to see. Your response of 12-24 months time upgrade is disgraceful and doesnt comply with your own risk assessment policies and rectification timescales irrespective of having reported this for over a year now already. I note if I want a line painted in front of my driveway you will happily come and complete that in 12 weeks. You will also note in the photo the collapsed drain cover and potholes in the cycle way, which explains why cyclists have to subject themselves to jostling with traffic on the road rather than using this. You are clearly not inspecting and rectifying your highways correctly whatever boxes you may be ticking. I await your response but it appears from the lack of concern of the safety of children I will have to escalate to the local MP. What a shame

Once again there is broken glass on the footpath through railway tunnel, in spite of the signs saying 'alcohol not permitted'. Litter alongside the footpath is an eyesore. This is a well used path.
