Road surface failed. The sign explaining road failure has been there for months. The road was closed for a week and was hoping this was been repaired.

Damage To Walls and Fences at number 215

This report is in conjunction with 7639511 Following dangerous driving today there is damage reported to me by the resident where there is now debris from the wall that has been hit in the road causing further obstructions.

Narrow road causing multiple wall/fence collisions

On the Vale road near 236, the road is so narrow that the walls and fences lining the road are often crashed into - Customer is contacting the police about speed reductions possibilities but could we arrange for someone to attend to see what improvements or changes can be made to prevent these collisions

The branches are now overhanging nad shedding onto our guttering and driveways.

Please respectfully these branches need to be trimmed back as it is causing the guttering for our properties to clog up and it is getting quite expensive fo rus residents to keep paying for gutter cleaning and car cleaning. We pay council tax on time, all the time, please can this be taken into consideration and rectified.

Road deteriorated forcing vehicles in path of each other

Road surface has deteriorated from Gearys Wood down to the junction of the Vale road and continues to worsen. Forcing vehicles into each other this is increased in severity as popular commuter route with cyclist to and from Chesham where they are forced into oncoming vehicles.
This is further compounded in wet weather as debris are forced along the road to the junction at the Vale road exasperating deterioration.
This location is exhibiting unsafe conditions that pose a risk to public users. Under Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980, the authority has a legal duty to maintain the highway in a safe condition. This includes carrying out timely repairs, or setting an inspection schedule on this concern.
Where hazards are identified if maintenance is not imminent adequate warning signs to alert road users should be made visible including during night or other impeded driving conditions all of these form part of the statutory duty of care.
This report also serves as formal notification to the authority, ensuring that Section 58 of the Act cannot be later relied upon as a defence for non-repair, delayed action, or substandard fixes that result in increased risk to the public and unnecessary cost to the taxpayer.

Good morning. All the grass verges on both sides of Greenway are very overgrown and have an impact for vehicles trying to exit roads due to poor visibility at road corners. Please cut back the vegetation as a matter of urgency. Thank you.

First 50-100 yds of "Rossway"

Initially reported over two years past, a pothole on "Rossway" has become more and more severe due to wear and damage accumulation. Furthermore, the carriageway edge is now in an advanced state of failure due to attempts by road users to avoid the pothole. It has a rough maximum depth of 25cm, and its present size is accelerating the deterioration of the surrounding road surface. Can it please be inspected and appropriate remedial action taken as a matter of urgency.

The whole of this public byway needs resurfacing there is water damage all along it , making it very dangerous. There could be a serious accident on it , its a danger to life and limb. this has been reported no end of times before and not got anywhere. this issue has been going on since March 2024 when i reported it numerous times . Why are you doing nothiing about it?

Failed road now in 4th year not being dealt with!

This road has been reported multiple times - highways have agreed its failed (they have put signs up to say its failed) other roads in far better condition locally have been fixed (local road between St Leonards church and caravan park as an eg) yet this bit is consistently ignored, WHY? clear to all residents that it is a total disgrace that it has not been fixed for 4 years now! we have seen a bike accident, we have lost a wing mirror as a result of drivers trying to avoid the holes and stones. An explanation of exactly why it is not being repaired is now long over due. Better still fix my street!
