Abandoned car that is ‘sorn’ed and with no MOT

Audi CA66 HYW has been abandoned. Its only been there about a week but is part of a series of cars that are left there for a couple of weeks or so, that often have no tax or MOT, and then disappear. Has been happening for 2 years. Have always ignored it, but has been suggested they may be dodgy.

Urgent! Parking problem
so bad emergency services would not get through.
The council have recently put high curb on the embankment. This is causing significant disruption as people continue to park opposite, leaving less than a 6 (1.8m)gap. Only narrow vehicles can get through and ambulances are over 6 wide. The other road was also blocked by parked cars this Sunday. Probably visiting the pub. It was completely blocked with people having to drive up the embankment to get in and out of the village, an ambulance would not be able to do this. There are a number of farms and equestrian centres both high risk activities and likely to need emergency services. An immediate resolution would be to put no parking bollards up while you consider removing the new curb. This is urgent!

Cones placed on the road

During the spring and through the summer there appears to be a group of cyclists that cone off part of the road every Thursday evening (around 7:15 to 7:30pm) and run time trials from Great Gaddesden Parish Hall to the roundabout at roundabout by the Traveller's Rest, and back again. You sometimes find people in Hi Vis jackets on the Travellers Rest roundabout. Is this allowed? It causes unwanted restrictions at the conned off area, not to mention issues with cyclists not paying attention to other roads users and expecting other drivers to keep out their way.

Lots of rubbish left from people playing in the woods

This is an ongoing issue where people meet in the woods on their bikes or scooters and leave their rubbish all around. This is in the woods as you go through the footpath from Hedgeside, cross straight over the footpath into the woods, follow around to the right and its there.

Accident damage to bridge and crash barrier

The Bridge at Water End on the Leighton Buzzard Rd was hit by a car on 25/12/24. Police attended and I thought the damage had been reported, but apparently not. The coping stones on the bridge have moved and the crash barrier damaged.

This sign has been here for nearly 4 years We have mentioned it to many council workers that have been working in the area over the years who have all promised they would take it away but haven't.
