They’re Back!!
2nd May
Last years temporary repair to the failed road surface and numerous potholes has, unsurprisingly, failed again. The potholes are back causing vehicles to try to straddle the road over the worst of this section - in the centre of the road. This driving line is just before a hump back bridge with no vision along the road, putting cars at rush of head on collision whilst trying to avoid the worst of this road surface. This whole section is patched, then fails again, with monotonous regularity and its time the road surface was properly replaced.

This humpback bridge was damaged in 2023. Last year it was repaired and while an excellent job was made of it, then repair remains incomplete. There is a section at the top pictured in the attached photo which shows this missing section.

Even more rubbish… oil leaking
15th February
I recently reported a large quantity of oil and fuel filters being left on Watery Lane by butterfly sanctuary, in lay by. More rubbish has been left, strangely with council aware tape. The oil is leaking into the water course and there is a strong smell of oil. This has become an environmental issue. I will now also be reporting to the environment agency due to lack of council action.

Heading towards cheddington from airfield industiral esata
17th January
All the way from the old airfield industrial estate to the roundabout in cheddington, a mixture of failed road surface, subsidence and potholes. Cyclists are regularly riding in the middle of the road (white line) to avoid the worst of the surface especially at night when it can be tricky to see what damage is coming up.
