The road repair is of such poor quality that cyclists travelling north towards the Pitstone Memorial Hall veer onto the opposite side of the road, despite the blind bend ahead, to avoid it. Its really dangerous.

Junction of Vicarge Rd and Poultons Meadow. Trench across Vicarage Rd
25th May
Trench dug by housing developer Bellway across Vicarage Rd was never properly made good and the finished surface lies 5cm below the surrounding surface expect for a very small section of original road in the middle. It is this latter section where cyclists veer towards the middle to avoid the drop and yet it is on a bend in Vicarage Rd.

Damaged and missing railings still not replaced
23rd May
The damaged (and subsequently removed) railings from numerous vehicle collisions have still not been replaced after 14 months. The cones that have been put in place to highlight the danger have been disappearing. As railings take so long to replace, could containment kerbs be installed to protect cottages and pedestrians from vehicles?

14th May
Someone seems to have dumped cat litter on the road to make the poor surface one colour. This type of repair is short sighted and Cost the taxpayer more
This location is exhibiting unsafe conditions that may pose a risk to public users. Under Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980, the authority has a legal duty to inspect and maintain the highway in a safe condition. Phasing of light changes
9th May
There is a 20 second delay in the change of lights from when the last car passes through towards you to when your lights begin to change. This is far too long to allow cyclists through, as seen on another comment. Cars are now starting to jump the red light knowing that nothing will be coming as the wait is too long or thinking the lights are stuck. This has happened three times over the last month when waiting on red either side of the bridge. The amount of traffic at each side of the bridge is now considerable as the wait time leads to this build up. The impact of this at the give way point at next bridge in Bulbourne is also considerable as 20-30 cars can come from the lights at one time with no gaps between them leading to build up of cars alongside the houses- when there is a large vehicle here this causes a stand off as no one can go anywhere- and impatient drivers trying to get through when there is any hint of a space between cars coming towards them! This issue started before Easter. Prior to that the phasing was fine. Please revisit the phasing of the lights.
