Overgrown hedges on footpath
20th May
Hedges making the footpath unsafe for pedestrians. There is no space if people are walking in opposite directions - the need to be taken back to be in line with where the pavement ends and the house boundary begins. When I walked up the road the house numbers when had hedges needed taking back were : 52, 62, 68, 70, 72, 74, 76a, 84, 88, 92, however I do think some have trimmed them since I made a note last week. It would make the journey to and from school and other polemics of the pavements a lot safer if the hedges were cut back. I frequently see people moving into the road.

Footpath hedge overgrown
20th May
The hedge on the opposite side of the road to the school is overgrown over the footpath, to stay on the path with children you must walk single file to get along to the common when the lollipop man is. This is far too dangerous on that section at school drop off and pick up time and so most parent who walk past St Margarets Sanctuary and cross over Church Road, then cross again immediately onto the other side of the road (by the bus stop). This footfall is high because parents walk between the middle school and first school on this route.
Please can the hedges between Church Road and the common on School Road be cut back to allow parents to walk down to cross safely with the lollipop man.
