Overhanging trees by 15ft
14th May
Number of trees overhanging from Sanford House in Avening. They overhang up to the middle white lines of the public road. This blocks the light, causes birds to poo all over the pavement and cars that park there for the school run but the main problem is the leaves all fall off and turn into a sludge mess that the children slip on in winter months. Property is less than 100m from the school and kids get filthy shoes just walking past or stepping out of the car. Very slippy in winter.
Other villagers have been asked to cut back their trees that hang over 1-2m over roads and this by far exceeds that, and causes children to fall every winter. Reporting as I hope that my two children don't fall again on the leaf sludge this winter.
