Since double yellow lines have been introduced around Foxwhelp Way this year, they are still being parked on and cars are blocking the road constantly. The issue is not being managed so what is the point in having double yellow lines?

Email received 05/06/2025 - copy attached. Customer reports that the trees outside the crossing area at the location and around the school are overgrown. They are reducing visibility for both cars and pedestrians.

Theres a blue bike thats been thrown into the hedges on the slope. Its slightly hidden by the trees so you might not see it from the foot path until you walk up the bank.

Tree is damaged problem

Yesterday morning I spoke with someone on the emergency call helpdesk regarding an issue of overgrown trees on the highway around our school.
Wendling Road (see photo Wendling Rd pillow.tunes.reveal.)
We would be grateful if these trees could be regularly maintained so that pedestrians and road users are not put at any further risk.

Fenced drainage pond overgrown

There is an enclosed fenced drainage pond at the end of Chivenor Way which should have vehicle access so that it can be cleared regularly. It is now so overgrown vehicle access nor person access can get in to clear it. It has not been cleared out in over five years.
Occasionally we see a guy with a strimmer flatten an area. There is now no longer a drainage area but a really overgrown weeded area with lots of wild bushes, nettles and brambles.
This should be maintained to match the local area, nothing has been done, it now looks awful. All other areas with drainage ponds around here and streams, paths etch are well maintained just not this specific one.

Drain block

Hello the drain is blocked the entrance to Tescos by the Haywian Pub Quedgeley Gloucester Not sure if it is the local authorities to repair and maintain Tescos or the Haywain Pub Quedgeley Gloucester Either way, somebody needs to look at it and do some work on it as when it was heavy rain the car splashing when youre trying to cross the road if you cant do it can you please tell me who to report it to? Parking on the pavement
2nd June
This car is constantly parked on the pavement and every time I walk (with my dog) and soon will be pushing my dad in his wheelchair I have to move onto the road. I have twice (nicely and respectfully) asked the owners to not park in the pavement and mentioned to them that they have a driveway where they can park. Incidentally, they also have a door into their house where the driveway is but they refused to park on their drive. So anyone with pushchairs, wheelchairs, dogs, people have no other alternative to walk on the road as the car takes over the pavement.
