Blocked PROW - Gloucestershire Way
1st June
The screen shot of the map attached to this report shows the length on the Gloucestershire Way that is blocked by numerous fallen trees and 4ft to 5ft high nettles completely overgrowing the path. As you get closer to Walham there are 5ft high brambles. This starts just after the A40 near Alney Island and continues past Walham. We eventually had to abandon the path and cross private land to get to another PROW as it was impossible to find a way through, even with trying to bash the nettles down and crawling under trees.

Missing cycle path. Perhaps due to flood damage?
1st June
We are cyclists following a 150 mile tourism route around Gloucestershire - see photo of leaflet and the map within the leaflet. All excellent, until we tried to cycle from Gloucester to Maisemore. Signage vanished. We had to push through undergrowth so we could turn left at a major roundabout, then we had to cycle along the fast A417 into Maisemore, although we could see a derelict cycle path below us, left of the A417. Please send a cyclist to check the route, as shown on the map.

Outside number 2 Estcourt Close. This has been like this for over a year. Pedestrians are unable to use footpath. Tree roots in soak away affecting drainage.
28th May
37 Windermere Road. The tree in front of 37 and 35 has grown significantly in recent years. When investigating why the joint down pipe was backing up and overflowing we discovered pipe work completely blocked by tree roots. The over flowing water has caused damp issues. We have had to temporarily divert water away from the house but this isnt taking the water to ground and is damaging the driveway.

Maple tree overhanging property
28th May
The maple tree on the pavement outside 35 Windermere Road significantly overhangs the drive. In May and June the resinous deposits fall on the car, necessitating vigorous cleaning and causing wear to paintwork. The tree needs trimming back to beyond the low wall boundary please. The issue has become more prevalent recently and we believe the tree has not been trimmed by GCC on the house side since we moved in in 2008.
