Nuisance parking. Ongoing issue.

Our neighbours continuously keep parking visitors cars and their own car in front of our driveway. Although not blocking us in they are causing a nuisance as we cannot reverse out of our driveway or drive out without difficulty. The area directly in front of our driveway should be left clear for the purpose of manoeuvring out. This has been an issue for almost a year with the current neighbours and for 3 and a half years with the previous tenants who have now left. The landlord is u helpful and the current tenants have continued to park there or ask their visitors to despite politely asking them not to on a few occasions.

Damage to a row of old oak trees

21st October

The trees have had soil piled up around them to build up the hedge where they grow. We have been told this will kill them. The trees line a busy rural public right of way and also provide screening for the ancient windmill in Broadclyst. This has been ongoing for a couple of months now and the banks are being made higher and higher, increasingly covering more of the trunks.

My elderly Father has complained that he is being impeded in his mobility scooter by cars parking on the pavement. There is no need for these vehicles to park like this.

On the M5 between junction 28 and 29 miss leading signs

We have passed multiple electric speed signs showing 40 and 50 and one showing that the outside 2 lanes were shut when there is no congestion and nothing to slow down for. No one is slowing down for them but 1 person did for a 40 sign and it almost caused a crash. It is extremely unsafe to leave signs like this on when there is no need - they are causing more danger than the old or imaginary issue they are trying to fix. Please turn them off before someone gets hurt!

A cooker has been dumped just opposite Hawkins Road

Whilst we go and clear up rubbish down this road we are not picking up cookers. It is an eyesore and encourages others to dump. More rubbish has been dumped since the new estate was built.

Parking on Hellings Gardens EX5 3DX

2nd March

Parking relating to school finishing times has been a problem for years. The cul de sac Hellings Gardens is narrow and cars park the whole way down causing frustration for residents. We cannot take deliveries as vans cannot get through, emergency services cannot get through and yesterday our bins were not emptied by the council because they could not get through. In addition, residents are unable to get out of their drives.

So many than potholes

the road is disgraceful

These potholes have been here for over a year and are getting worse every day. For peopel who live in Hellings Gardens it is like driving off road every time they leave the close. For people visiting the doctors surgery it is a nightmare as old and infirm people stagger across the road trying not to trip in the massive holes. Whole section from the entry to the close and 20 metres in needs renewing.
