Burning rubbish on public footpath
27th June
This was reported originally on 9 February 2015 - it is still happening! All types of rubbish is regularly being burnt on the public footpath to Blackmantle. It has been going on for some months and sometimes creates toxic smelling fumes. The location is just before the gate to the field, just past the side of the property The Belfry EX37 9QL (a little way past the pub).

Two drains in the lane from the rear of Rackmead Terrace are blocked.
10th March
The run-off from Rackmead Terrace flows across High Street onto the cobbles in front of the Post Office and adjoining cottages on the south side of the street. The resulting mud is regularly clogging a water meter chamber, and depositing on the cobbles.

Blocked drain
water across roads
Blocked drain maybe. In the road outside The Vines, Chittlehampton, near Hillhead and East Street junction. Water spills across the roads, only dries up a bit when there is no rain. Would be hazardous if it became icy. Has been like it for over a week. Thank you.

Blocked street drain
19th January
The drain at the junction of hillhead and east street in Chittlehampton is blocked. Water is running across the street down to the next drain. This has meant the street resembling an ice rink in the current weather. I am worried that there will be an accident. This has been ongoing since November

There is excessive mud on this road especially by gateway with no signage. I have driven allong this road at night, slipped on the mud at low speed and almost put my car in to the hedge.

Multiple pot holes causing significant danger and damage
14th January
Between Breackneck Cross and Honey Beetle cross there are multiple large potholes These are damaging car wheels and tyres There is also significant danger to cyclists and horse riders as these holes are deep I am concerned, as an Orthopaedic Consultant Surgeon, that there will shortly be an injury to a horse or a cyclist who may come off as wheels drop into these holes Any tyre damage will be reported as a claim to the council

Potholes
26th February
Many potholes between Lerwell Cross and Limers Cross. One of the said potholes caused me to stumble and fall on 24th of February 2013 causing skin abrasions and bruising. No joke at the age of 79 !
