Litter on verges of A1 from J37 travelling south for many miles.
4th April
Grass verges smothered in plastic litter and unclaimed traffic cones. The litter is never ending and stretches for miles travelling southwards down the A1. This litter will eventually be blown into local rivers and carried out to sea. The environment does not stand a chance!

Large deep pothole
23rd February
Had to recover a car today that had hit the hole and blown the front near side tyre . Driver said it was on or near the river Don crossing just before J36 South bound , There was a rolling road block for what seemed to be workmen filling a hole just to the South of this location at the time ( 8.30am 23/02/2022 ) as i passed it as i headed to J37 to turn to come back to the dissabled vehicle .

Slip road reduced in length
27th January
The slip road form Warmsworth A1M J36 northbound has been shortened to such a length that it is very dangerous. Each morning cars are stood still waiting to join the motorway on the slip road with lorries and other vehicles driving past at speed. The current speed limit is 40mph due to road works however, it appears that the slip road has been permanently shortened. This slip road was not particularly good prior to this development due to it being a downward slope and limited visibility of vehicles already on the motorway coming past the junction but now it is much worse and seems very dangerous trying to get on the motorway form a standing point. Whilst road maintenance workers are in place in that area, could it be considered to elongate the slip road to at least what it was before?
