No road name sign
26th August
We have recently had our address updated. About April time but it's still not available on Google maps etc. Would we be able to have a road name sign on the lane, as the postcode we now have located on the industrial estate in Ashbourne.

Postcode problem
19th February
Hi, I think our postcode is incorrect. The postcode we have is DE6 3BJ which is mercaston lane. As you will see from the map we are not directly on Mercaston lane DE6 3BJ it's a random unnamed bit of road. But on the part of mercaston lane that is DE6 3BL The next house down and continuing on this lane are all DE6 3BL. No one can ever find the house due to the postcode. Also our house has always had two names Stoop Cottage South and 2 Stoop Cottage. We only use 2 Stoop Cottage but this may have also added to the postal code issues.

Deep dangerous hole
21st September
There is a deep hole with a steep edge on the downhill side that is in the area where cyclists will ride. The steepness of the edge means that hitting the hole at speed could cause a cyclist accident. Once it rains, the hole will fill with water and appear as a "normal" puddle which a cyclist may cycle through unaware of the depth. Needs fixing urgently before the next significant rain.

The path in the spot marked has a fence and hedge blocking it. Many others in the area between Church Lane and Bullhurst Lane have broken or non existant stiles. Some are blocked by barbed wire. Many of the signs are overgrown or missing.
