Giant Hog weed either side of "Blue Bridge" and by road bridge
3rd May
I reported this last year and nothing was done. The very dangerous plant, Giant Hogweed, is growing in Waterside gardens again. This plant causes nerve damage to people and dogs. It is either side of the "blue bridge" on the garden side and by the edge of the bridge by footpath 106. This is Perennial Hogweed and need proper treatment or it returns. Nothing was done last year and it is very lucky no one was hurt. Although the other hogweed is not directly accessible, as no action has been taken it is spread all the way along foot paths 106 and 105. You have a legal responsibility to stop this hazardous plant spreading. Please treat it now!! https://www.gov.uk/guidance/prevent-the-spread-of-harmful-invasive-and-non-native-plants#:~:text=use%20a%20registered%20waste%20carrier,the%20Environment%20Agency%20public%20register
