I've noticed that the Grade 2 listed building at address 50 Haughton Green, Darlington as installed new UPV downstairs windows. My understand is that planning permission needs to be obtained before this type of work can be carried out on a listed building. Loose and noisy manhole grate cover in road.

Please can you arrange for the manhole grate / cover in road outside 30 -32 Baltimore Way to be fixed please. It is in the middle of the road and vibrates making a loud noise every time a vehicle passes over it. It has been like this for a few weeks now, but is getting worse and the noise is getting louder by the day. It is particularly annoying early morning and late at night, but also during the day for nightshift workers. It can be heard in homes in the adjoining streets too. Please can you fix ASAP.
