Vehicle illegally parked and blocking views to oncoming traffic
30th May
Every time the Village Hall is rented out be it for parties or for the Pre School Club we are plagued with inconsiderate parking. The issue has been going on for years. Drivers ignore the double yellow lines and park so close to the drive we find ourselves unable to turn left from the road into our own house having to turn around along the road returning to turn right into our home. The parking in such close proximity also severely restricts our line of sight making exiting our home a game of Russian roulette with passing cars. I have communicated the ongoing issue to the Village Hall Secretary who simply replies what can I do. When approaching the offending drivers I usually receive verbal abuse or abusive hand gestures.
