Multiple lights not working
31st March
As few sets of Central reservation lights have not been working for a couple of weeks making the a45 dangerous at night especially approaching the High Street turning for Ryton on Dunsmore and even worse when the heavy downpour of rain came recently and flooded the side of the roadway as the standing water was only visible in the headlights...it did seem very dangerous.

Car completely blocking pavement

This car is completely blocking the pavement at the time that children are leaving g school, I had to walk with my son in the road to get past.

Raised curb and no signage makes getting off a45 to housing estate dangerous

There is a housing estate (Grange Farm) straight off of the a45 (60/50mph). Getting off of the a45 to enter the housing estate is very dangerous. First of all there is no slip road or at least a dropped curb to get off the road and lower speed. There is also no signage to let drivers know that there is a turn off there. Many times I have ended up with a lorry or car behind me that hasnt slowed down because they dont realise the turn off is there and assume I am indicating for the roundabout. This turn off is very dangerous and I believe an accident will happen is something isnt done. It needs at least signage or for the curb to be dropped to make it safer.

Multiple potholes

Multiple pot holes all in a line covering the full width of the road from one side to another. Have been patched multiple times over the years but the water runoff from the fields combined with the tractors and lorries that use the road have made them really deep now.

Large & deep pothole

There is a large and deep pot hole on Freeboard Lane, in between Plott Ln & A45 (on A45 bound side of the lane). Its opposite a field gateway, near bend in the road. It is very deep and would cause damage to a car tyre if struck.

Fixed pothole had crumbled away and deep hole reappeared

Fixed pothole that was recently filled - the filling has crumbled away and the filling tarmac had piled up on the side - a really deep hole has now reappeared - caused damage to my car tyre.

Broken safety fencing

Fencing to protect pedestrians from falling into a drainage ditch has rotted away and the fencing has fallen down. The fencing has been moved out of the path but the fence requires replacing to reduce risk of people falling into the gulley
