Constant speeding

Vehicles of all descriptions have formed a habit over a long period of time of driving well in excess of the speed limit (30) up and down Eastern Green lane that joins Broad lane to Lower Eastern Green Lane. This is probably due to the long, wide features of the road. It is a residential area, with houses occupied both by elderly persons and families with young children, including my own. It is only a matter of time before a child gets hit by a speeding motorist. I feel it is well over due having traffic calming measures installed which will significantly deter speeding motorists without impeding service, emergency vehicles etc.

Road/jct has recently been repaired but the road markings have not been repainted and there is no visible stop/give way line de-marking the junction with Pickford Grange Lane, which is dangerous due to the proximity of the jct to a severe blind-bend.

Potholes and Unsafe Road Surface

The entire stretch of Upper Eastern Green Lane is in an atrocious state of disrepair. Potholes and uneven road surface for the entire length of the road. Needs to be completely resurfaced and not patched up. Its only a matter of time until a cyclist is killed or a road traffic accident occurs due to the poor state of neglect. This issue has already been reported multiple times.

Filthy Footpaths on Pickford Green Lane

Footpath down the entire stretch of Pickford Green Lane is filthy and overgrown and cannot be used by pedestrians who are having to walk in the road. They are covered in mud, moss and overgrown verges and need to be cleaned and verges cut back to enable pedestrians to be able to safely walk the entire length of the road up to the newly installed footpath linking Brick Lane.
