Overgrown hedgerow reducing footpath widthe by 50%
5th May
Overgrown hedgerow from garden of 2a Fletchamstead Highway is not being properly maintained, and has been allowed to grow across the pathway.
This has reduced the combined footpath and cyclepath by up to 50% of it's width. This makes it almost impossible for bikes to pass pedestrians on this stretch. When additional diversion signage is erected on the footpath it's barely possible to squeeze through.
The problem continues to a lesser extent around the corner into Kenilworth Road. The landlord of 2a seems only to maintain this hedgerow when a complaint of this kind is submitted.

Broken tarmac on the pavement outside the new shops opposite the junction with Broadway. This has left large bits of debris/trip hazards. The surface is constantly weakend by cars pulling up onto the pavement.

30 inch pothole with 4 inch deep centre

This has been here for at least two months. I photographed it earlier but neglected to report it. Now it is much deeper and on the bend of a narrow road near the kerb.

Loose manhole drain cover in road constant loud clanging sound when vehicle go over it

The loose metal manhole/drain cover has been getting progressively worse over the past few months, now to the point we cant sleep with the window open because it makes so much noise. Its in the middle lane of the A45 London bound between Broad Lane and Tile Hill Lane about 50 yards before the traffic lights on Tile Hill Lane.

From Monday 28th there is a congestion caused by the traffic light on Allesley Old road, both directions, from 4pm. This was never the case before so I'm assuming is due to traffic light settings.

No right turn on traffic light

As you approach Coventry on the Kenilworth Road there is no right turn filter on the traffic lights, only lets two or three vehicles through as traffic leaving Coventry going straight on has priority and blocks the junction, causing unnecessary delays.

Overhanging tree branches

Using the cycle lane on coundon road you go under the rail tracks. Coming from town riding down the slope to go under the tracks there is a blossom tree overgrown hanging down the wall making cyclists use the opposite lane. It needs attention. Child's equipment toy dumped in the front of the alley space by Peking House takeaway on Broomfield Rd. There is also an armchair dumped on the street a few doors up around 80 Broomfield.
